Never been to a quarter auction?  Here’s how it works:

Before the event, guests can inspect the prizes on display.

When the auction starts, each prize up for bid will be described, including the retail value and number of quarters you need to bid.  Guests who wish to bid on that particular item, will place the specified bid (1,2,3 or 4 quarters) in the bowl on the table, and hold up their numbered paddle.  If you have more than one paddle, you must place a bid for each paddle raised. When all bids are collected, the auctioneer will draw a number. If the number on your paddle matches the number on the chip drawn, you win that item!  If a matching numbered paddle is NOT held up, the auctioneer will draw again, until we have a winner. Once we have a winner all numbers will be placed back in the container and we’ll go on to the next item to be auctioned.

Come join the fun!
