Welcome to the State of Delaware Spay & Neuter Program page. We know you want to keep your pet happy and healthy. Having your cat or dog spayed or neutered, also known as “fixed,” is a great way to ensure your pet’s health and wellbeing over time.

The Spay & Neuter Program provides low-cost spay and neuter services to cats and dogs of income eligible applicants. Those who are eligible may have up to three pets spayed or neutered every fiscal year for $20 each. Eligibility requirements are listed below.

This important decision can be beneficial for you and your pets in several ways. Accessible, affordable spay and neuter services are also crucial in addressing the problem of pet overpopulation.   http://de.gov/FixMyPet

The Delaware SPCA is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to the elimination of animal cruelty, neglect and overpopulation by providing services for people and their companion animals since 1873. We do not receive state or county funding, and there is no national SPCA. We rely solely on local donations to carry on our work for the animals.

Delaware Humane Association (DHA)

With your support, DHA is working hard to reduce the number of unwanted cats and dogs by providing low cost spay/neuter services to the public. We believe in spaying and neutering (also known as “fixing”) as a moral imperative, and all our animals are surgically altered before they are adopted. Millions of cats and dogs are euthanized each year because there are not enough homes for all of them. You can be an important part of the solution and help your pet live a happier, healthier, and longer life.
